Obituary: Karen Ann (Wright) Gerry of Danvers, Worked at her Son's Restaurant, Pellana Prime Steak House in Peabody

Karen Ann (Wright) Gerry 57, of Danvers, died September 5th, 2014 surrounded by her family at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers, after a courageous battle with Cancer.

Born in Somerville, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Mahoney) Wright. She was raised and educated in Somerville.

Karen was an integral part of the daily operations at her son’s restaurant Pellana Prime Steak House in Peabody. As their Finance Manager, she will be greatly missed.

A loving and adorning mother, she lived her life to the fullest extent possible. Her most memorable moments were the exciting times she spent with her family and friends. She was a lover of animals, live music and traveling. She was someone who simply loved to have a good time. She treated her friends as family and was always there for any of their needs. She will be remembered in the greatest light and truly missed.

Karen is survived by her son Daniel Mammola and his wife Daniella, her daughter Alyssa Gerry of Danvers, her brothers Daniel Wright and his wife Ann Marie of North Reading, Gregory Wright and his wife Laura of Maynard and Sister In Law Cathy Wright of Westford. She leaves several nieces, nephews and dear friends and she was predeceased by many brothers and sisters.

ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral service will be held in the Peterson-O’Donnell Funeral Home 167 Maple St., (Rt. 62) Danvers, Tuesday, September 9th, at 11 A.M.. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Monday, September 8th, from 4 to 8 P.M. Burial in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Danvers is private.
