Obituary: Louise Mary Sim, Teacher's Aide in the Danvers School System For Many Years

A longtime resident of Danvers, Louise was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and mentor.

Louise Mary Sim, 91, of Danvers, beloved wife of Robert F.Sim, died Friday, May 1st, 2015 at the Ledgewood Rehab & nursing Home surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Woburn, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Suzie Corsetti. She was raised and educated in Woburn and was a graduate of Woburn High School.

Mrs. Sim had been employed for many years as a Teacher’s Aide in the Town of Danvers School System. She was a dedicated professional who made many special connections with her students over the years. Her caring and patient nature endeared her to many students; she was recognized for her professional performance by being named the Teacher’s Aide of the Year in 1983.

A longtime resident of the Town of Danvers, Louise was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and mentor who will be deeply missed. She had a great influence on many people throughout her life. She was extremely charitable with her time and resources and gave to many charitable organizations locally and worldwide. She will be deeply missed.

Louise is survived by her loving husband Robert F. Sim Jr. of Danvers, her daughters, Janet Louise Lewis of Dover, N.H. and Donna Elaine Cross and her husband George of Exeter, N.H., her sons, Dr. Philip Tavano and his wife Judy of Chelmsford, John Tavano and his wife Diane of Newburyport, Robert P. Sim and his wife Julia of Marblehead, Charles Sim and his wife Amy of Bangor and Edward D. Sim of Salem, her 13 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren , several nieces and nephews and many dear and close friends. She was the mother of the late Michael Tavano and John Stuart Sim.
