Obituary: Mary Eva (Gynan) Halupowski, Had Been Employed at Hotwatt in Danvers

She and her husband, Tony, sold their vegetables in front of their home on Liberty Street in Danvers for many years.

Mary Eva (Gynan) Halupowski, 92, passed away on January 26, 2015 in Danvers. She was the wife of the late Anthony R. Halupowski, Sr., with whom she shared 69 years of marriage.
Born in Haverhill on June 2, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Wilena (MacDonald) Gynan. Mary had been employed at Hotwatt in Danvers and retired after 26 years. Mary enjoyed her flower and vegetable gardens. She and her husband, Tony, sold their vegetables in front of their home on Liberty Street in Danvers for many years. Most of all, she enjoyed being surrounded by her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be truly missed.
Mary is survived by her three daughters, Mary-Lee Angers and her husband Thomas of Ormond Beach, FL, Sally Imlach and her husband William of Ormond Beach, FL, Linda Watson and her husband Lance of Reading and her son, Anthony Halupowski, Jr. and his wife Sharon of Milton Mills, NH, her sister Lena DeCoff of Danvers, eight grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Herbert Gynan.
Her Funeral Service will be celebrated at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Annunciation Cemetery, Hobart St., Danvers. Visiting hours are Tuesday, prior to the service from 9:30-11:15AM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Mary’s name to the American Diabetes Assoc., P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.
