Obituary: Theodore T. "Ted" Smith Jr., 58, Optician For 25 Years

Theodore T. “Ted” Smith, Jr., 58, of Danvers, died Wednesday, March 11, 2015 in Naples, Florida. He was the loving husband of Carolyn (Gilligan) Smith and devoted father to Jennifer Smith Iliades and her husband, Constantine, of Gloucester. In addition, he leaves behind his mother-in-law, several siblings-in-law, and his many nieces and nephews.

Ted was a lifelong resident of Danvers and was the son of the late Theodore T. and Anne Marie (Jones) Smith. He was a graduate of Danvers High School and of Merrimack College. Ted was a dedicated licensed optician for twenty-five years.

Visiting hours will be on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 from 4:00 - 8:00 pm at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm Street, Danvers Square. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at 10:00 am in the funeral home. Relatives and friends are invited.
