One Establishment Fails Liquor License Compliance Check

DANVERS, MA — The good news? 44 establishments in Danvers have passed a recent liquor license compliance check. The bad news? One failed the test and allegedly sold to an underage buyer.

Sgt. Olivia Silva called the result "a good start," according to the Salem News with Police Chief Patrick Ambrose scheduled to meet with the selectmen on Aug. 2 to discuss the gas station.

The test consisted of an underage buyer attempting to buy alcohol without a valid ID.

The selectmen will have the option to hold a hearing on the alleged violation.
