Opening Of Danvers Medical Marijuana Facility Delayed Again

Sanctuary Medicinials now doesn;t expect to open until mid- or late-January, according to its CEO.

DANVERS, MA -- A later-than-expected start of construction will delay the opening of a proposed medical marijuana dispensary in Danvers until next month. Sanctuary Medicinals had said in September that it would delay its opening until November as it awaited final state approval of its license.

"I expect us to be open sometime mid- to late January," CEO Jason Sidman told the Salem News, which first reported this story. "Construction is finishing up currently, I think it will be done next week."
