Parade of Trees 2024, Danvers Historical Society's 16th annual event

Danvers Historical Society's Parade of Trees invites you to use your creative skills to donate a decorated faux tree or wreath.

Danvers Historical Society's 16th annual Parade of Trees event scheduled December 4-8, 2024 is now accepting applications for donated decorated trees or wreaths. If you love to decorate for the holiday season, there's no better way to express your creativity than donating a decorated (the theme is up to you) faux tree or wreath. Space is limited, so we are accepting application forms now through NOVEMBER 11, 2024. Visit the Danvers Historical Society's website for online participation and guideline forms:

Since 2009 local businesses, organizations, schools, families and individuals have donated creatively decorated faux trees and wreaths which are displayed in Tapley Memorial Hall during the first week of December. As one of the society's important fundraiser, attendees may buy raffle tickets to hopefully win their favorite tree or wreath.

In 2023 fifty trees/wreaths were raffled to raise over $25,000 for Danvers Historical Society. These funds support preservation projects of historic properties and artifacts and also fund education and public programs each year. Winners, along with the donors of each display, will be listed in our publications.

Display set up dates are Nov. 22, 23 and 25 at Tapley Memorial Hall, Danvers, MA.
