Parking Ban Declared for Friday Night
On street parking in Danvers will be banned starting at 1 a.m. on Saturday.

An overnight on-street parking ban will go into place in Danvers starting at 1 a.m. on Saturday.
The announcement was made at 2:19 p.m. on Thursday by Gail Bernard, program coordinator for the Danvers Department of Public Works.
It is the second time this winter that an overnight parking ban has been put in place since the Board of Selectmen voted in December to switch from an all-winter parking ban to a case-by-case ban.

The ban prohibits parking on all town streets between the hours of 1-6 a.m. It comes with a $15 ticket plus the cost of towing and storage if the vehicle is towed.
The DPW said it will issue a notification when the ban has ended.
