"Thank you for your cooperation," the Department of Public Works said when the ban was lifted.
The ban was pit in place for Tuesday morning for 1-6 a.m. This year's storm-by-storm parking ban is a new policy for Danvers, which had a seasonlong on-street parking ban for at least 40 years until a vote by the Board of Selectmen to implement a trial program that ban on-street parking only when snow is in the forecast.
