Peabody Institute Danvers Collecting School Supplies for Local Kids

Drop off new school supplies outside the Peabody Institute Danvers Children's Room to help local kids in need.

Peabody Institute Danvers has joined with libraries in Andover, Boxford, Hamilton, North Andover, and Topsfield to collect new school supplies for Community Giving Tree. Throughout August, Community Giving Tree, collects new pens, pencils, pocket folders, notebooks, glue sticks, markers, crayons, erasers and even new backpacks for local kids in need. Backpacks will be loaded with supplies and distributed to local social service agencies to be given to children with the highest need. The recipients are kids living in Lawrence, Lynn, Salem, Gloucester, Haverhill, Lowell, Peabody, Beverly, Danvers and Methuen.

The collection box is located outside the Children’s Room through until Friday the 29th.
