Today's photo of the harvest moon was submitted by photographer Ryan E. Wolf. Did you know? The Harvest Moon is the full moon nearest the autumnal equinox. This moon is different than the other full moons, in that around the date of the Harvest Moon, it rises at almost the same time for a number of nights in the northern latitudes.
