At 5:57 p.m., a Staples employee reported a fraudulent return. Police took a report.

At 7:40 p.m., police arrested Jason Coke, 37, 3 Clooney Terrace, Peabody, and charged him with shoplifting by asportation.

Monday, Aug. 25

At 9:45 a.m., police arrested Kyle Kohler, 25, 3309 Kirkbride Drive, Danvers, and charged him on a warrant.

At 11:21 a.m., police responded to Middleton Road about the theft of a leaf blower. Police took a report.

At 5:14 p.m., police received a report from Sylvan Street about a car break-in. Police took a report.

At 6:11 p.m., police arrested Steven Cabrera, 23, 2733 Morris Ave., Bronx, NY, and charged him with credit card forgery, larceny more than $250, credit card fraud more than $250, forging/misusing an RMV document and false impersonation and identity fraud. Police made the arrest at Costco.

At 9:52 p.m., police placed an intoxicated Danvers man into protective custody after a suspicious person call on Water Street.

Tuesday, Aug. 26

At 5:26 a.m., police arrested Brian Sewall, 64, 116 Lafayette St., Salem, and charged him on a warrant and receiving stolen property less than $250 (subsequent offense).
