Police Looking For Man With Gun On North Shore

The man was reportedly honking at people and showed a gun after being fired from his job this morning.

DANVERS, MA -- Police from several communities were looking for a man driving a 1998 Toyota Corrolla Friday afternoon, according to police radio transmissions. The man reportedly showed a handgun after he was fired from his job in Saugus Friday. Police believed the man may have been in Danvers, where there were reports of a vehicle matching the description beeping his horn at people.

Later on Friday afternoon Danvers Police Sgt. Ashley Sanborn told Kelsey Bode, the Salem News reporter who originally reported this story on Twitter, that the man had "no definitive connection" to Danvers and that she was unsure why radio transmissions suggested the man may be in Danvers.
