Police Warning After Rash Of Danvers, Middleton, Peabody Car Break-Ins
Danvers police said the break-ins targeted unlocked vehicles Saturday night and Sunday morning.
DANVERS, MA — Police are urging residents to lock their vehicles at night after a rash of break-ins were reported in Danvers, Middleton and Peabody this weekend.
"These incidents often involve individuals checking for unlocked vehicles, so a quick check before bed can go a long way in preventing theft,"

Police alerted all residents to lock vehicle doors and double check to make sure they are secure, to not leave keys, wallets or valuables inside a car, to close and secure garage doors and home entry points, and to turn on exterior lights and motion sensors.
"If you see anything out of the ordinary, please report it right away," Danvers police said.
