Public Invited to Weekend K-9 Division Trials

The public is invited to attend the United States Police Canine Association Police Dog 1 Division Trials and Certification this weekend at the Greater Lawrence Regional Technical School, 57 River Road, in Andover.

The Essex County Sheriff’s Department and the Andover Police Department will be hosting the event.

Weekend Competition Schedule:

Saturday, June 13: 8 a.m. Opening Ceremonies, 8:30 a.m. Field 1 K-9 Agility/Field 2 K-9 Obedience, Noon Lunch break/family Activities, 1 p.m. Field 1 Suspect box, Field 2 Evidence Recovery

Sunday, June 14: 8:00 a.m. Criminal Apprehension, 11:30 a.m. Raffle tickets will be drawn - lots of family fun. At 12:30 p.m. Criminal Apprehension with gun fire/ at 4:00 p.m. trophy ceremony
