Wet Puppy, Stolen From Peabody Police Officer, Dumped By Thief
The 11-week-old Pua had been stolen earlier in the day.
PEABODY, MA — An 11-week-old puppy stolen Thursday afternoon from a Peabody yard was found wet in Middleton hours later. The Yorkie, Pua, appeared unharmed.
Pua belongs to a Peabody Police Officer.
According to a witness, a young man driving a dark-colored Toyota Camry pulled up and reached over the fence, stealing the 11-week-old pup. He allegedly said, "This is my dog" before taking off.

Pua was later found in Middleton, apparently dumped by the thief.
