DANVERS, MA — Taylor Swift fans headed to Gillette Stadium on Saturday are not the only ones ruing the rainy forecast.

Those planning to attend the Danvers Department of Public Works' annual Open House on Saturday are also having their weekend dampened after the DPW said Friday it was canceling this year's event because of the weather.

"We have made this decision with the consideration of this being an outdoor event and the forecasted rain beginning Saturday morning," Danvers DPW said on Friday.
