Fire At Liberty Tree Mall In Danvers Quickly Extinguished
The fire started in an air conditioning unit in the A.C. Moore store, according to scanner reports.
DANVERS, MA -- Fire fighters were responding to a "working fire" in an air conditioning unit in the A.C. Moore store at the Liberty Tree Mall in Danvers Friday morning. The initial call was for smoke coming from one of the stores at the mall. Smoke was visible coming from the roof of the building.
At 10:31 am, Danvers fire officials reported that the fire had been extinguished, according to scanner reports.
According to scanner reports, Danvers Fire officials were calling on fire departments in Beverly and Wenham to provide coverage while Danvers fire fighters responded to the alarm.
