Salem Academy AD Drew Betts Named Next Danvers High Athletic Director
The Endicott College graduate has been the Salem Academy Charter School's athletic director since 2011.

DANVERS, MA — Danvers High School has found its new athletic director in longtime Salem Academy AD Drew Betts.
Betts, an Endicott College alumnus who has guided the charter school's athletic department since 2011, replaces Andrew St. Pierre, who resigned in November to pursue other career opportunities.
Betts earned both his undergraduate and master's degree in athletics administration at Endicott and has been a baseball coach, and soccer coach, and has taught physical education.

He has been the Co-Executive Director of the Massachusetts Charter School Athletic Association since July 2012 and is a certified Master Athletic Administrator through the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrator Association.
"We were impressed with how Drew grew the athletic program at the Salem Academy Charter School and his leadership role in the Massachusetts Charter School Athletic Organization," Danvers High Principal Adam Federico said. "We are looking forward to having him start this summer."

Betts was born and raised in Bristol, Connecticut.
