Santa Arrives by Boat on Saturday in Danvers

Santa will once again arrive by boat in Danversport and children will have the opportunity to take their photo with him at the popular Santa by Sea Holiday Event. Festivities will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, at Popes Landing, 8 Harbor St. Danvers..

There will also be pony rides, petting zoo, horse-drawn carriage rides, bouncy houses for kids and other fun holiday festivities.

The River Committee, Friends of the Danvers Recreation, Harbormaster and Danvers Recreation coordinate the event.

Parking will be available at the Riverside School, 95 Liberty St., and the John George Park, 35 River St.

Santa will arrive by boat close to noon, and hundreds are expected to be on the dock to greet him.
