Search For Danvers Bank Robbery Suspect Continues
The man did not show a weapon when he ordered bank tellers to give him money around 5 p.m. Thursday.
DANVERS, MA — Danvers Police say the man who robbed a Peoples United Bank branch on Federal Street in Danvers late Thursday afternoon was a heavyset Hispanic man in his thirties. He was between 5'6" and 5'&' and wearing a blue beanie, black wig and gray hooded sweatshirt when he demanded money without showing a weapon to bank tellers around 5 p.m. Thursday.
The man fled in an older model car that may have been a Honda. Police recovered the wig, which was discarded as he fled. Anyone with information can call Danvers Police at 978-774-1213 Extension 4113.
