Shoplifters and Machinery Missing From Transfer Station

The following information was provided by the Danvers Police Department. Where charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

The following are excerpts from reports in the Danvers Police Department press log from May 22-23.

Wednesday, May 22

  • 6:27 p.m. Avery Morrow, 18, of Nashua, N.H., was arrested, following a report of a shoplifter at Walmart. Morrow was charged with one count of shoplifting.
  • 7:12 p.m. Report of a shoplifting at Walmart.
  • 9:34 p.m. Report of an attempted shoplifting at Walmart. A caller said some black males tried to steal a TV.

Thursday, May 23

  • 7:18 a.m. Report of a larceny at the Danvers Transfer Station. A caller said there was some missing machinery.
  • 11:31 a.m. Report of a motor vehicle accident with injuries at the corner of Route 114 and Macarthur Boulevard.
  • 12:01 p.m. Report of a larceny of a bicycle overnight from a residence on Centre Street.
  • 2:17 p.m. Report of an intoxicated person at a home on Andrew Street. Police took a 23-year-old Danvers man into protective custody.
  • 3:51 p.m. Report of a fight at Motel 6.
  • 3:58 p.m. Report of a car break-in at Essex Agricultural & Technical School. A caller said money and credit cards were taken.
