North Shore Tech Council event 6/16 -- Learn How Tech Business Can Support STEAM Education

Come hear how local elementary public schools are working to create more STEM (and STEAM- STEM with Arts) programming, at this North Shore Technology Council (NSTC) STEM Special Interest Group event. Both Beverly and Salem school districts re-vamped how they were teaching and staffing Science education. Speaker Nikki Rupu, STEAM integration specialist at Centerville Elementary in Beverly, MA, will cover what’s worked, lessons learned, and how tech businesses might be able to further support these efforts. The event will be held June 16, 2015 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the NSTC offices, 100 Cummings Center Suite 224F, Beverly, MA. Free for NSTC members; $10 for non-members. Limited to 22 participants.
