Special STEM Event for Local Businesses
North Shore Tech Council - Special STEM Event for Local Businesses, 7/21 in Beverly

With 16 out of the top 20 fastest growing companies on the North Shore involved in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) fields, working to ensure that local tech companies aren’t struggling to fill positions is a key issue. Presenter Allison Scheff, Executive Director of STEM for the Massachusetts Department of Higher Education and the Governor’s STEM Advisory Council, will discuss details about how the state is currently tackling STEM education. From Next Generation Science Standards to the review and funding of @Scale STEM initiatives, Scheff will cover what is working, what will soon change, and how local businesses and professionals can help further support the local STEM pipeline.
