Tenants' Rights In Focus At Danvers Senior Center Listening Session
State Sen. Joan Lovely and State Rep. Sally Kerans will host the public discussion in conjunction with the state Attorney General's Office.
DANVERS, MA — Danvers and Peabody elected state representatives will host a listening and information session on tenants' rights in partnership with the Attorney General's Office at the Danvers Senior Center.
State Sen. Joan Lovely (D-Salem) and State Rep. Sally Kerans (D-Danvers) will lead the session on Nov. 30 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. All residents of Danvers and Peabody are invited.
Kerans and Lovely will look to hear the concerns and experiences of area renters and then there will be a presentation on tenants' rights by members of the AG's Community Engagement team.

"We're hearing from constituents with a range of tenant issues," Lovely said. "I appreciate the A.G.'s office's willingness to listen and provide information."
Kerans said people in her district are experiencing a range of unacceptable practices by larger property management companies, often located out of state.
