• filed a lawsuit against the Board of Selectmen for not allowing the establishment to build a restaurant in Danvers that would include video games.
• Danvers was heading to the polls to vote for a new State Senator. Before the votes were counted, it was thought that among Danvers voters, Jack Monahan and Joe Centorino were the front runners.
• Five families that fled the war torn countries of Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos resided in Danvers until it was safe to go back to their homes.
• Three Danvers kids, Molly and Glen Charette, and Jennifer Katz, performed a show at the "Kid's Fair" on the Boston Common.
• The raised $8,000 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
