St. John’s Preparatory School
Eagles’ basketball takes on Central Catholic Tuesday night in Lawrence for a much-anticipated re-match in a Division I North semi-final game. If the Prep prevails, the boys will head to TD Garden on Friday to play the winner of the Lawrence/Lynn English game (Wednesday) for the Sectional Championship.
On the ice, the Eagles’ hockey team faces off with Needham High School Wednesday night in the next game of round-robin play in the Super 8 Tournament. The Prep will then play Boston College High School on Sunday in the final round-robin game at Merrimack College. There are four teams split between two brackets; the winner in Bracket 1 plays the runner-up in Bracket 2 and vice versa next week. The championship game between the two winners is then held at TD Garden.
