VIDEO: Christmas Tree Moves into Place in the Square
The Danvers town Christmas tree was moved from Brookwood Lane to Danvers Square on Tuesday.
A 30-foot tall Blue Spruce was moved from the Connors' yard on Brookwood Lane to in front of CVS in Danvers Square on Tuesday morning.
Teh job was completed by workers from Blanchard Crane Service and the Danvers Department of Public Works with an escort from the Danvers Police Department.
The 37-year-old tree was donated by the Connors family to the town of Danvers to serve as the town Christmas tree this year. The tree lighting will be on Dec. 1 from 2-5 p.m.
