Village Food Store Of Danvers Sells (Another) $1 Million Ticket
Manchester-by-the-Sea man is the latest to win big at the Danvers convenience store.

DANVERS, MA — A Manchester-by-the-Sea man has become the latest millionaire after a stop in the Village Food Store of Danvers.
George Guinane won a $1 million prize in "The Fastest Road to $1 Million" instant ticket game. The Massachusetts Lottery said Guinane chose the one-time payment and received $650,000 before taxes.
He bought the ticket at the High Street convenience store in Danvers, which will receive a $10,000 bonus for the sale.

Since 2012, the store has sold five $1 million lottery tickets and one $4 million jackpot. A state Lottery spokesman said four of the prizes have been won on tickets sold at the store just within the past two years.
