Women Who Fought On Route 128 In Danvers Could Be Charged

DANVERS, MA — Massachusetts State Police have identified the two women who were caught on video fighting in the middle of Route 128 in Danvers Friday morning. Police said they are considering whether to file charges against the 33-year-old Gloucester woman who was driving a Subaru Outback and the 64-year-old Beverly woman driving a Nissan Altima.

Two drivers caught the fight on video and submitted it to police. The altercation took place Friday morning around 10 a.m. The two women can be seen on the video out of their cars on the southbound side of the highway.

A woman in a red coat with dark hair can be seen locking arms with a woman who has blondish hair. The blonde woman can be heard yelling "Get off of me!"

CBS Boston, which first reported this story, posted one of the driver videos, shown below.

Both women were gone by the time State Police arrived, but one of the women has contacted the police since the video was released earlier this afternoon. It's not clear what started the fight or if anyone was injured. The driver who shot the video yells "I'm sending this to the police!" as she drives by the two women.
