Danvers Woman Fatally Stuck by Car Identified, Driver Cited
Police have released the name of the Danvers woman who was killed in a pedestrian accident.

DANVERS, MA — Police have released the name of the 70-year-old Danvers woman who was fatally hit by a car on Hobart Street early Tuesday morning.
Maxine Taymore has been identified as the victim, according to the Danvers Police Department. At about 6:57 a.m. Tuesday morning, emergency crews responded to a pedestrian accident on Hobart Street. Taymore suffered life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead at Beverly Hospital.
The operator of the vehicle, a 33-year-old Danvers man, has been cooperating with police. He was cited for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, police said. His name has not been released.
