• H.S. girls volleyball: Frontier hosts fundraiser for Iain Spearance (recorder.com) — South Deerfield residents packed Goodnow Gymnasium as Frontier Regional's girls volleyball team turned Monday night's home match into a heartfelt fundraiser for alum Iain Spearance, who is recovering from brain surgery and ongoing cancer treatment. The community bought raffle tickets, wore "Team Iain" shirts, and filled the stands, even as powerful Longmeadow swept the Redhawks on the court.
   

• $788K in grants to boost Franklin County food systems, farm capacity (recorder.com) — Deerfield's Atlas Farm is receiving more than $233,000 to build new crop storage, part of $788,051 in grants boosting Franklin County's food system and farm capacity. A South Deerfield native now leading the state agriculture department highlighted how these funds will help local farms, food processors, and nonprofits expand storage, processing, and refrigerated delivery for fresh, local food.
