24-Year-Old Easton Woman Allegedly Assaults Braintree CVS Manager During Shoplifting
The following information was supplied by the Braintree Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

A CVS store manager at the South Shore Plaza was allegedly hit by a 24-year-old South Easton woman when the manager attempted to call the police on the woman for shoplifting, Braintree Police said.
Kristen Gilson, 24, was arrested last Thursday, March 1 and charged with shoplifting, two counts of receiving stolen property and assault and battery, Deputy Chief Russell Jenkins said in a statement.
The manager brought Gilson to the store's office after she allegedly tried to steal shampoo, Jenkins said. Gilson fled after allegedly hitting the manager, who chased her and told police. Officers found Gilson on a connector road behind Mobil on the Run, Jenkins said.
