7-Eleven Robbed at Knife Point

The armed robbery highlights today's police and fire log.

Shortly after 9 p.m. on Friday, a man, who was traveling by foot, entered on the corner of route 106 and 138 and robbed the store by knife point. The store clerk said the man headed east on route 123 after the robbery. Easton police notified West Bridgewater of the incident.

The area was searched, along with a state police k-9. However, nobody was located.

A Canton Street caller reported to police at approximately 4:20 on Sunday that a shot narrowly missed him while he was in the woods near the Ames Rifle and Pistol Club.

Police responded to the incident and the gate to the club was closed. Police said they spoke to the treasurer of the club about the incident.

Breaking and Entering at School House Apartments

At approximately 10:45 a.m. on Monday, a resident of School House Apartments reported that the apartment had been broken into over the weekend. A jar of half-dollars and a prescription were reported missing.

Suspicious Activity?

Shortly before 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, a caller reported a suspicious blue van in the parking lot. The caller said a man had been in the car for over an hour on his cell phone.

Upon arrival police officers noticed that there was an event at the school and over 40 vehicles were in the parking lot. The officers could not locate the described vehicle.
