Accident on Washington Street Sends One to Hospital Thursday

The transported one person to the hospital Thursday afternoon after a two car motor-vehicle accident
A Nissan and a Toyota allegedly struck each other at the intersection of Janet Road and Washington Street at approximately 4 p.m. While the driver of the Nissan was transported to the hospital, no serious injuries were reported of the driver of the Toyota.

responded to a call at Target on Robert Drive Wednesday regarding a "known shoplifter" in the store.
Lost Prevention at Target said the man was carrying a box cutter and walking in the electronics department. Upon arrival, Easton Police found the man in the parking lot and he did not have any items on him. Target issued a trespass notice.

Alleged Vandalism at Columbia Gas Company
Police responded to Columbia Gas Company on Eastman Street Wednesday regarding a broken gate at the entrance over-night.
Employees said the gate was broken into over night, possibly by a motor vehicle. The matter is under investigation by the Easton Police Department.
Accident on Turnpike Street Monday
Police responded to a call on Monday regarding an accident on her property that moved the large rocks in her yard.
The caller said a driver allegedly struck the rocks and moved them into the street. Officers reported that the rocks were within the fog line and the resident put out reflectors for the stones she thought were too close to the street.
