Accident Reported at Union-Washington Intersection Last Week

Emergency Officials responded to an accident at the intersection last week.

One person was injured after an accident at the corner of Washington Street and Union Street Monday, Nov. 26.

An involved motorist reported a two-car accident at the intersection and was complaining of neck pain. Easton EMT units responded to the scene.

Breaking and Entering Reported in Dela Park Lane

Tuesday, Nov. 27 at approximately 10:45 a.m., a business employee reported a past breaking and entering incident and vandalism at a vacant condo unit.

The incident occurred sometime between Wednesday, Nov. 21 and Monday, Nov. 26.

Shoplifting Reported at CVS

A floor manager at CVS on the corner of Depot Street and Washington Street requested Tuesday, Nov. 27 at approximately 5:30 for a report on a male party who shoplifts Nivea products.

The party was not currently in the store, but loss prevention had information on him.

Foundry Street Accident Sends One to Hospital

An accident on Foundry Street near Mansfield Tuesday, Nov. 27 at approximately 8:45 p.m. sent one person to Good Samaritan Medical Center.

Mansfield Police reported one vehicle struck a tree. Easton Fire Officials responded to the scene for the transport.

Gas Leak Reported on Turnpike Street

Easton emergency officials responded to Turnpike Street Thursday, Nov. 29 at approximately 7 p.m. for reports of a gas odor.

The caller said he smelled gas and heard a hissing outside. He was advised to evacuate the building and alert other tenants if possible.

Easton Firefighters arrived and confirmed a gas leak. They evacuated the rest of the building and Columbia Gas Company arrived to shut off the gas.

Breaking and Entering Reported on West Bridgewater Line

Easton Police responded to a call on Foundry Street on the West Bridgewater line for a report of a breaking and entering.

The caller reported the theft of several items.
