About:

Renovation Funding

At one time the playground behind the Eastondale
School provided the children of its South Easton
neighborhood with a safe place to play. The former
school is now privately owned, but the playground is
still owned and maintained by the town of Easton.
Over the last several years the playground has fallen
into disrepair and is currently in need of
improvements. Upon its successful restoration and
expansion, the park will again serve as a place of
enjoyment for local children and families.
The Town of Easton has already committed their
support for the project both financially and with the
construction. Even with the tremendous amount of
support that the park has already received, the true
success of this project can only be achieved with the
help from local businesses and volunteers. With a
collaborative effort amongst all those involved, it is
our goal to rebuild the park back to acceptable and
enjoyable conditions.

Our Story
Along with several other families in the area, we had the
privilege and the opportunity to enjoy the Eastondale
Playground growing up.
Although it lacked some popular recreational structures,
the playground provided children with a safe and
enjoyable place to play.
“Ali’s Park…Where Memories are Made and Smiles Last a
Lifetime”
In 2013 we lost a dear member of our family to a tragic car
accident. Ali Hamilton was just 22 years young when her
life was taken from her too soon. Ali was our daughter, our
sister and a friend to so many people. She made an
impact that will never be forgotten and for that we will
always be grateful.
Since her passing, we have not only decided to help
restore and rebuild the Eastondale Playground but we
have also created a scholarship program in her name. In
the last three years the Ali Hamilton Scholarship Program
has contributed over $7000 to Oliver Ames graduates to
help them pursue their futures just as Ali would have. Our
mission is to continue to help the community in as many
ways as possible, starting with the playground but
certainly not ending with it.
