Alleged Hit and Run Sends Pedestrian to Hospital

Easton Police are investigating an alleged hit and run on Main Street early Friday.

are searching for an alleged hit-and-run driver after an early-morning accident sent one pedestrian to the hospital Friday.

Police Chief Allen Krajcik said officers responded to a 911 call at approximately 2:44 a.m. reporting a man lying in the westbound lane of Main Street. The man, who police identified as Julio Quinones, 31, of 139 Main St Apt 2, Easton had reportedly been hit by a vehicle and was suffering non-life-threatening injuries. He was transfered to Good Samaritan Medical Center by the

Krajcik said Quinones was unable to provide any information as to what happened. His shoe, however, was located 85 feet away and a broken rear-view mirror was found next to him.

Officer Andrew Salisbury is investigating the incident, Krajcik said.
