EASTON, MA —Basketball players in Easton looking to showcase their skills and enjoy some friendly competition will soon have their chance to hit the court.
The town's men's 30-plus basketball league will hold tryouts Nov. 8 and 11 at 6 p.m. at Oliver Ames High School, located at 200 Lothrop St.
There is a $5 registration fee to participate, and a spot on a team's roster is not guaranteed.
League games are typically played Sunday evenings between 6 and 9 p.m., giving players a chance to compete without committing to midweek practices.
Players who make a team will have their individual statistics tracked and get to keep their jerseys. With no additional practices required, participants only need to show up on game nights ready to compete.
Players who are not selected during the draft will be placed on a waitlist.
Anyone interested in showing off their basketball skills can register for tryouts online.
