EASTON, MA — Oakes Ames Memorial Hall is giving Easton residents a chance to refresh their wardrobes while supporting a local landmark.
On Sunday, Nov. 1, Coffee, Closets & Community at the Hall will return to Oakes Ames Memorial Hall, located at 3 Barrows St. in North Easton.
The event will offer shoppers a wide selection of clothing and accessories, including sweaters, jackets, dresses, jeans, shoes, handbags and more.
For those who need a little pick-me-up while browsing, coffee and refreshments will also be available.
But the event is about more than finding a new outfit. Every purchase will support the hall's Elevator Project, which aims to install an elevator compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act and improve accessibility, emergency egress and heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems at the historic building.
Built in 1881, the Richardsonian Romanesque-style landmark is a recognizable part of North Easton's history.
The event will run from noon to 4 p.m., giving residents an opportunity to shop, connect with the community and contribute to improvements at the historic hall.
