Baystate Show Choir Festival Showcase 2014 Performance at OAHS.
We cordially invite you to be amazed and entertained by our Saturday evening November 15th for
the BSCF Showcase Performance beginning at 8:00PM.
This year will feature two outstanding clinicians: Judy Hanson, Vocal Clinician and Ellie
Jordan, Choreographer. A nationally known clinician, adjudicator and conductor, Ms. Hanson
has presented sessions and workshops at ACDA chapters, judged national show choir
competitions and conducted choirs throughout the US. Ellie Jordan is an up and coming
freelance choreographer based in Chicago, Illinois. She is a recent graduate of Western Michigan
University receiving her bachelor of arts in dance. Her technical training is in Jazz, Ballet,
Modern, Tap, and Hip-Hop. Both clinicians are on staff with Show Choir Camps of America.
Talented high school groups from Massachusetts and beyond, including Canada are
scheduled to perform. Now in its 30th year, the Festival is hosted annually by the Oliver Ames Music
Department and features OA’s national award winning show choir Panache. The performance is
the culmination of the Festival which kicks off Friday. Students attend the two-day workshop and
work with a show choir vocal clinician and choreographer on the three numbers to be performed
at the Showcase. Tickets for the Showcase Performance are $16 and are available now online at
oliverames.org/tickets
Tickets will be available to purchase at the door for $18. The Oliver Ames High School Performing
Arts Center is located on Lothrop Street, North Easton.
