Breaking and Entering Reported Christmas Eve

A Christmas Eve housebreak highlights weekend police happenings.

An alarm was activated on Depot Street Saturday night sending police to the scene to investigate a possible breaking and entering.

Upon arrival, found and open door and a broken window. The alarm company said the alarm sounded at the front door and two seconds later it sounded on the back door, meaning the loud noise may have chased the suspect away.

The homeowner was notified and the matter was under investigation.

Graffiti Found at Schoolhouse Apartments

Police responded to a call at Schoolhouse apartments at 8:42 p.m. Friday. The caller said the responsible parties were at the rockery.

An officer checked the area and could not find any suspects.

Two Arrested for Vandalism at Roache Brothers

Two 18-year-olds were arrested Friday evening for vandalism at Roache Brothers Plaza.

Neeve MacGregor of Barrows Court, Norton and Vittoria Bravetti of New Taunton Ave, Norton were arrested for destruction of property over $250. They were held on $40 bail and released later that evening.

Break-in at Hennessy's

An alarm at Hennessy's Package Store at approximately 6:30 a.m. Thursday sent Easton Police to the scene.

Upon arrival, Police confirmed breaking and entering. The only item that appeared missing, though, was a 30-pack of Bud Light.
