Cash Box Stolen From Fresh Catch

An overnight breaking and entering resulted in a missing cash box from Fresh Catch Seafood early Wednesday morning.

responded to a call at approximately 1 a.m. at the store after an alarm had been set off at the 669 Washington Street location, Police Chief said.

Upon arrival, three minutes after the call, police noticed that the front door had been smashed and entry had been gained into the building. There was no sign of the suspect, who had fled after taking a cash box.
