Team CBC drove seven hours to Coal Township Pennsylvania to compete in the Mid Atlantic Wrestling Association Regional Tournament and walked into a gymnasium filled to capacity with the best youth wrestlers on the east coast.
After having a strong showing earlier at the MAWA Districts held in Londonderry NH Team CBC had ten wrestlers qualify for the MAWA Regionals.
The skill level of youth wrestling at the MAWA Regionals was impressive if not intimidating. There was no easy age or weight class in the tournament. The entire trip was a great learning experience for the youth wrestlers.
Team CBC wrestled hard and many of the wrestlers won their 1st and 2nd matches in the tournament. Although no one from CBC qualified for the MAWA Nationals we did have several place winners. Wrestling for Team CBC were:
Colby "Monsta" MacIntosh
Shaymus "Shaymac" MacIntosh - 5th place
Gaige "The Silent Assasin" Hughes
Brandon "Bubba" Winn - 6th place
Aiden "The Irish Hand Grenade" Winn
Devin "No Nickname Needed" Winn - 5th place
CBC Wrestling holds their classes at the Raynham Dog Track.
