Easton Chosen As A 'Housing Choice Community' In MA

EASTON, MA — Easton has been designated a "Housing Choice Community" in 2020 due to its housing production over the past five years.

The designation qualifies Easton to be eligible for an exclusive grant program for up to $250,000. Easton will also receive special consideration for state programs such as MassWorks, Complete Streets and Green Communities funding.

There were 64 communities designated at Housing Choice Communities in 2020. Those communities combined to produce 70 percent of new housing in the state over the past five years.
