Easton Driver Strikes and Kills Woman Near Quincy Center 'T' Station

A fatal accident is under investigation in Quincy after a motor vehicle driven by an Easton woman struck and killed a pedestrian near the Quincy Center MBTA Station Station this morning.

Quincy Police Captain John Dougan said Wendy Chou, 55, of 173 Whitwell Street, Quincy was pronounced dead at Quincy Medical Center a short time after she was struck by a 1997 Volvo driven by Ann Grant, 69, of 9 Adams Street, Easton.

Dougan said Chou was crossing the street of the Burgin Parkway at 5:33 a.m. when she was struck by Grant's car.

The matter is still under investigation and shortly after 9 a.m., a construction re-enactment team was still at the scene. No charges have been filed against Grant at this time, Dougan said.
