Easton Fire Chief Named President of the Bristol County Fire Chiefs Association

From the Bristol County Fire Chiefs Association:

The Bristol County Fire Chiefs Association has elected its new slate of officers for the calendar years 2014-15. The Chiefs elected the slate of officers at its July meeting and swore the new officers in at the September meeting at its annual ladies night.

The BCFC Association is comprised of the Chiefs from the fire departments within Bristol County. The Association meets monthly to discuss and work on fire service issues including, mutual aid, emergency medical services, regional equipment, regional response capabilities, and legislation relating to the fire service.

Members elected and sworn in to a one-year term are:

• President: Chief Kevin P Partridge; Easton Fire Department
• 1st Vice President: Chief Michael Gomes; New Bedford Fire Department
• 2nd Vice President: Chief Scott Fournier; Berkley Fire Department
• Secretary: Chief Scott Lachance; Attleboro Fire Department
• Treasurer: Chief Brian Legendre; Westport Fire Department
• Board of Directors: Chief James Januse; Raynham Fire Department
• Chief Peter Burke; Swansea Fire Department
• Chief Timothy Francis; Fairhaven Fire Department

The Officers will serve in their position until July 2015.
