EASTON HISTORICAL SOCIETY NOVEMBER OPEN HOUSE

Did you know that the Morse Family of South Easton were involved in cotton-thread production, the Morse car, and Crofoot Gear?

On Sunday, November 9, 2014, the Easton Historical Society is having an open house about the Morse Family of South Easton and Veterans. The open house will feature the many generations of the Morse Family involved in cotton-thread production, Morse cars, and Crofoot Gear. Three generation will be present: Alfred, “Tad”, and Ben. They will share their memories of Easton at 2 P.M.. Also present will be Dr. Stanley Moody, whose father owned a Morse car. Veterans will also be honored at the open house. There will be two World War II scrapbooks prepared by Jane Miller on display.

To learn more about the Morse family of South Easton and view the World War II scrapbooks, please visit the open house on November 9, 2014 from 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM. The Easton Historical Society is located at 80 Mechanic Street North Easton.
