Easton Man Arrested After Knife Threat to Father
The following are excerpts from the Easton police log. An arrest or charge does not indicate a conviction.
Easton police on Friday charged a local man with assault after receiving a report that someone was threatening his father with a knife on Hill Street.
Brian Riley, of Turnpike Street, South Easton, was arrested after police got the report at about 11 p.m. His bail was set at $1,040.
An injured party was treated at the scene by the Easton Fire Department, according to the police log. The person did not require a hospital transport.
