Easton Man Arrested With Six Outstanding Warrants

The arrest comes a day after a Dunkin' Donuts employee was arrested for receiving a stolen car.

In the past two days, the has made two arrests.

Wednesday morning, police arrested Anthony Hunter, 29, of Foundry Street on a slew of charges after he was pulled over for speeding on Purchase Street. Officer Lonnie Ataman arrested Hunter for giving a fake name, speeding and operating under a suspended drivers license. Hunter also had six outstanding arrest warrants, police said.

The arrest came just a day after Easton police arrested a Brockton woman for receiving stolen property after she was spotted driving a stolen car.

A Brockton resident called police Tuesday stating he was following his father's stolen car on Belmont Street heading towards Easton, police said. The car, a 1994 Toyota Camery pulled into at 599 Washington Street.

The driver, Stephanie Barros, 19, of Brockton, is an employee at Dunkin' Donuts. She was arrested by Officer Ataman for receiving stolen property, police said.

Both Barros and Hunter will be arraigned in Taunton District Court today.
